Dr. Anna LeAvitt, DVM, CCRP, CVAT

Dr. Leavitt was born and raised in Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.  She moved to Colorado in 2005 where she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Colorado State University in 2011.  After a one-year internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, she worked in general practice for two years.  

In 2014 Dr. Leavitt transitioned from general practice to a clinic entirely dedicated to canine rehabilitation.  She has additional training and certification in veterinary acupuncture (CVAT) and physical rehabilitation (CCRP) from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and the University of Tennessee.  Dr. Leavitt established Healing Balance Veterinary Care in 2019. 

In her free time, Dr. Leavitt enjoys yoga, swing dancing, reading, hiking, and traveling.
